Our elite team of teachers have experience in just about every field of dance, including  TV, Films, Westend, Festivals, Fashion Shows, Commercials, Music Videos, Award Shows, Judging, the list goes on.
Not only do we pride ourselves in the knowledge we have in our dance but also in our experiences and careers that we can share with our students in hope to inspire them and encourage them.

Christabelle starting her training right here at WD Studios, she has trained and performed in many styles of dance including Latin American, Ballroom, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, HipHop, Locking, Waacking and House where has used these styles to achieve a highly successful Commercial Dance career spanning over 15 years. 

She has performed as a dancer for artists including Rihanna, Fifth Harmony, Ne-Yo, Will i Am, Years and Years, Bebe Rexha, Cheryl Cole, One Direction, Little Mix, Kimberley Wyatt & JLS to name a few.

On TV Shows The X Factor, The Voice, Alan Carr Chatty Man, Graham Norton, T4, Let’s Dance, Comic Relief. 

International Music Festival tours including V Festival, Wireless and T in the Park, Capital FMs Summertime Ball. 

Christabelle was a lead dancer in the Original cast in 2010 for Thriller Live in London’s West End. 

She has choreographed for Toyota, JD Sports, TV shows including BBCs Lets dance, ITVs Stepping Out, Sky 1’s Got to Dance and fashion and corporate shows for Ellesse & Pink Soda. Christabelle has assisted choreography on ITVs Little Big Shots.

Christabelle is also a qualified judge and examiner for the United Dance Organisation.

Christabelle teaches across the world having provided training to thousands of dancers from the UK, Russia, Europe and USA, she teaches in professional Performing Arts Colleges, Schools and Universities and of course here at WD Studios in Essex.

Lily began her dance training at WD Studios before joining Zoonation Dance Company at 15 years old. After joining Zoonation, Lily was put straight into their West End show Into The Hoods. She then worked very closely with them on shows and projects and even assisted their next  West End production Some Like It Hip Hop.

Lily booked her first dance job at 14 years old and has continued her career ever since, working with artists such as :

The Black Eyed Peas, Dua Lipa, French Montana, BeBe Rexah, Jax Jones, Steps, Swae Lee to name a few.

Lily has also choreographed & danced with brands such as Nike, Ellesse, Puma, Adidas, JD Sports, Boots, Starbucks, Toyota, Ford & more.

Lily has been in the West End, music videos, award ceremonies, festivals, commercials, fashion shows, live tv shows such as The Voice, Top Of The Pops Ant & Dec’s Takeaway, Jonathon Ross, Dance Dance Dance & more.
Lily teaches and judges at schools and colleges all across the world as well as teaching right here at WD Studios. 

Lily continues her Hip Hop training now with the prestigious Boy Blue Entertainment.

At 24 years old Jordan ‘J-Funk’ Franklin has been dancing for 13 years. A Middlesex University contemporary dance graduate, he has been a member of Boy Blue for over 10 years, Recently toured globally with their production Blak, Whyte, Gray as well as performing in Pied Piper: A Hip Hop Dance Revolution, Legacy and Unleashed at the Barbican among other venues. 

 

Jordan Franklin’s other credits include: Stormzy, Anne Marie, Jess Glynne, Jax Jones, Little Mix, Ellie Goulding, The Voice UK and The Queen's 92nd Birthday Show. He is also a choreographer for New Movementz Dance Company, who provide dancers under the age of 18 with performance opportunities by hosting battles and events.

Alfie Williams started dancing at WD Studios before completing his performing arts Diploma at Tiffany Theatre College, where he now also teaches. Whilst in training Alfie danced for, Fatherson’s music video “Always” and Sky 1: The Big Movie Singalong And Ant and Dec’s Saturday night takeaway.

Since graduating Alfie has worked as a Model for Mac Cosmetics “House of Halloween” and ensemble dancer for QDOS Pantomimes “Beauty and the Beast”. He has performed alongside Katy Perry at the Brits, and Ella Eyre for MTV The Grind in Malta. He has recently returned from a Cruise Ship contract with P&O and is a featured dancer in the Netflix Original Move “Eurovision” starring Will Ferrell coming in 2020 alongside other corporate work and teaching.

Jane Gilling graduated with a Diploma from Tiffany Theatre College in 2009 and went on to dance with Girl group Poison. Jane has performed at The Princess Diana Awards, UK Stand Up and featured on Sky 1 & Channel 4 as well as dancing at many corporate events.Jane has since focused on her teaching and choreography and is an ISTD qualified teacher. She is a resident teacher at Pineapple arts London as well as here at WD Studios. Jane has won choreographic awards including DDI - Most Original Choreographer and DDE Most outstanding Dance School. In 2017 she choreographed for The Ideal Home Show -London and her choreography has graced the stage of the prestigious Shaftesbury Avenue Theatre in London’s West End.

Back in 2002 WD studios was the start of Aaliyah’s dance journey before going to a vocational college to further her training. Aaliyah studied at Tiffany Theatre college for three years where she obtained a Performing Arts Diploma. Upon graduating Aaliyah landed ‘The Tina Turner Experience Tour’ dancing in over fifty U.K theatres for the most of two years. Aaliyah then headed to Dubai’s ‘Global Village’ to perform for audiences of over 100,000 people for six months. Amidst these contracts Aaliyah has also performed at The Brit Awards for artists such as; Katy Perry and Skip Marley.

Leah Dane has trained at WD studios since the age of 4 & has competed with WD since the age of 9 placing in many British and world championships. She is currently in her final year at Tiffany Theatre College graduating in July. Whilst at college Leah has performed at the excel “Move it” for the past 2 years and performed numerous times at “Can you dance” exhibition. In previous years Leah has danced for JD sports (RWD street team) in Oxford Street and performed in a number of Cliffs pavilion pantomimes starring Shane Richy and Bradley Walsh. Recently she has been dance captain for a performance at “Goodwood revival”, been a dancer for “Norouz dance Movement” Manato TV choreographed by Richard Marcel & Performed in the towngate theatre Panto in January of this year.

Casey started dancing at WD studios around the age of 8. She then continued on to train at Tiffany Theatre College under the directors scholarship on the commercial course for 3 years, graduating in 2020. During that time she participated in performances at Can You Dance? and Move It. Recently after graduating she has joined Ricky Jinks training company “Company Jinks” where she is extending her training in technique, contemporary, jazz and commercial.
